Ah, another question in context to the covers. Your book in 18 countries (OMG! ^^ That is sooo much!) - Do you have every book in every language at home? An own "Red Queen" Shelf maybe? =)

Do you think that your book inspired People to write?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@Juliabookaholic - Absolutely not. I wake up every day and I am astounded at where I am. I still can't believe I published a book, let alone a book so many people had read and loved!

What is your favorite movie? Which genre like you best?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@sharkygirl - I'm so inspired by so many authors. In particular: Tolkien, Rowling, George RR Martin, and CS Lewis.

Do you think it's possible that we'll have more than three books? Maybe "some" spin-off's? A few chapters from other sights, like Cal's?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@Stephie2309 - It's a mix. All my characters have pieces of myself and other people, but a few are directly based in real people. For example, Farley is based on one of my closest friends!

Are we going to learn more about the ,,different'' Reds in the next book? And do Shade, Cal and Kilorn come to the fore or is it more focused at the Scarlet Guard and the betray, I am really curious to know something (Sorry by the way for my bad english :/ )

Have you ever more sequels and possible adaptations in mind when you write? : )
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@MoonlightBN - I have no idea who would be cast, but I love seeing your ideas! The readers have some great casting choices from what I've seen.

If you could talk to Mare, what would you tell/ask her? And do you think you would harmonize together?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@leoniebookaholic - Oh, that's hard. The characters go through so much that I wouldn't particularly want to be any of them, but if I had to choose, Evangeline is pretty awesome. Smart, strong, maybe a bit mean, with some great style.

They also sometimes write problems?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@Stephie2309 - I definitely feel a connection with each of the character, but obviously my strongest is with Mare. It's her point of view I'm writing from, so I feel I know her best. And there aren't really any characters I hate. There are characters that are difficult to write, but I don't dislike any of them!

Haha, oh yeah! I already saw some Fan-Casts and they look soo cool! When I have read the book, I am sure I have my "own" cast in mind, but I find some ideas already great without knowing the story =D It has to be a great feeling to have such lovely fans. Can you actually believe that you now have fans worldwide? Or does it just seem like a dream to you? =)
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@sharkygirl - Yes, I found that out afterwards! Funny, her name was also my grandmother's nickname when she was a girl. But again, I didn't realize that until after I named her.

When or how did the idea to ‘The Red Queen’ occur to you?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@Stephie2309 - I think the most difficult scene, or at least the most painful, will be in the third book. I'm excited to write it, but will also hate putting Mare through it. The easiest scene to write? The twist in Red Queen.

So one of my questions is: How do you know that AOUR characters are the right?
Victoria Aveyard
17.07.2015
@sarah.runge.007 - I combat writer's block by making sure I take breaks. You can burn out if you don't so, as a rule, I try not to write on weekends or too late at night. This is my job and I try to treat it that way. It makes me excited to get to work!

Whats your favourite book in your childhood?
Victoria Aveyard

@Romina Agus - While writing the first book, I knew it required a series to tell the story, but I didn't know where it ended. While writing book 2, I realized where the story has to end, and now it just becomes can I get there by the end of book 3!
